Straight to the camera
Apple Watch talks to the MISSION 1 Pro over Bluetooth. Record, modes and settings don't need your iPhone in the loop.
It works both ways
Press the shutter on the camera and the watch knows. Battery, card time and the record timer stream back to the wrist.
The camera's own rules
Ask for 120 fps at 8K and the camera steps down to 4K. Overcrank shows that the moment it happens, so nothing changes behind your back.
A browser demo of Overcrank with a simulated GoPro MISSION 1 Pro, the camera Overcrank is tested on. HERO9 and newer use the same GoPro protocol but aren't tested yet. The footage on the camera screen is sample footage.
